I have been following the development of PEACE since it's foundation. I thought from the beginning to do more to support it personally but unfortunately it has not been easy to cope with my daily activities in The VOICE. I found the financial situation quite frustrating at a time when there was so many call for financial support on face book online for the PEACE magazine.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
My\u00a0 worries is that, financial support will always be needed for critical empowerment in such an independent structure. Therefore, it is important to know in which other ways PEACE can survive financially.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
I am also proud of the PEACE project focus and their engagements in contributing to the struggles against colonial injustice in Africa. In my opinion PEACE is a pioneering network in advancing the consciousness of African heritage in Africa and in diaspora.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
PEACE as an independent structure from western institutions is commendable and challenging politically to us all. We all have a prize to pay in the advancement of our political and cultural heritage.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
